Everyone at CCA is very proud of our 25 year history. 

Since our start in 1990, we have provided architectural, engineering, forensic investigation, expert witness and construction consulting services to clients in the insurance, legal, corporate, governmental and private sectors. From geotechnical surveys to complete building evaluations, we are the single-source provider for investigation, analysis, and creative design solutions.

Of course, we didn't get where we are overnight. Here is just a glimpse into our company's major milestones over the past 25+ years: 

January 1990

CCA, Construction Consulting Associates formed, Lexington, MA.

 

August 1991

CCA dispatches teams of engineers, architects and construction consultants to Cape Cod and Rhode Island in the wake of Hurricane Bob to assist insurance carriers and business owners. Staff on ground for more than 5 months, investigating more than 100 residences, restaurants, hotels, and businesses.  

 

September 1992

CCA dispatches team to South Florida to consult to Insurance Carriers in wake of Hurricane Andrew. Team involved for almost 2 years, investigating hundreds of residential and commercial buildings throughout south Florida to assist insurance carriers and insured’s in processing claims.

 

1993-1995

CCA forms relationships with:

• St. Paul Fire and Marine, who was acquired by Travelers.
• Commercial Union Insurance (CU, CGU, One Beacon).
• Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

1993-1999

CCA was retained by Lexington Insurance Company as their primary engineering and construction experts in claims arising out of blasting operations. CCA handled hundreds of claims involving thousands of properties to investigate damages related to rock blasting throughout New England.

 

January 1997

CCA, Construction Consulting Associates, is reformed as an LLC. CCA merges with CLG Architects to expand its growing residential, commercial and condominium design and forensics practice.

 

1998

CCA enters the Construction Defect industry.

 

1998- 2001

CCA is the technology litigation support partner on dozens of fortune 100 Y2k claims including the precedent setting Port of Seattle case.

 

June 1998

CCA opens regional office in Phoenix, AZ.

 

September 2001

CCA responds to post 9/11 damages in New York City, investigating building damages on behalf of insurers.

 

2001

CCA opens offices in Los Angeles, California.

 

2002

CCA expands in western US region opening offices in Denver, Colorado.

CCA forms CCA/LH, LLC, in partnership with Lyman Henn, Inc., expanding services to include geotechnical design, engineering, and forensics.

 

2003

CCA expands in Southwest, opening regional office in Austin, TX.

 

2004

CCA opens regional office in San Francisco, CA.

 

September 2005

CCA dispatches teams of Engineers, Architects and Construction Consultants in wake of Hurricane Katrina, working on the ground for over 2 years. CCA was involved in projects for:

• Banks
• Hotels
• High Rises
• Historic and custom homes
• Commercial
• Utilities

 

2006

CCA forms CCA-Nautilus, LLC, in partnership with Nautilus 

 

2007

CCA opens regional New York office.

 

2009

CCA form CCA-KMI, LLC, in partnership with KMI to expand services to include Construction and Program Management throughout the US and Caribbean.

 

2010

CCA opens regional offices in Orlando Florida and St. Thomas, USVI.

 

2014 and beyond

CCA celebrates 25+ years.
