Over eight years engineering experience related to the development and implementation of comprehensive building restoration projects. Experienced in structural engineering, construction administration, construction product sales, and project management as a Staff Engineer, Building & Restoration Specialist, and Project Manager. Experience working in professional design and construction groups consisting of architectural, civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines. Member of a technical sales team representing the world’s largest construction chemical company. Engineering tasks include structural design, site inspections, forensic analysis, detailed review of construction documents, project schedule forecasting, material take-offs and cost estimates, review of engineering standards, and preparation of proposals. Extensive knowledge of building envelope systems and waterproofing.
Conducts field investigations identifying structural concrete repair areas for contractors to excavate and restore in accord with accredited ICRI and ACI standards. Curated, and presented, educational lectures at various engineering firms, as well as at ICRI South Florida Chapter events, on the topics of corrosion mitigation, concrete strengthening, and the effects of moisture penetration on structures.
