Jake is an experienced electrical engineer focused on electromechanical systems, controls and equipment for mission critical facilities, and data centers. He works closely with the CCA team and clients to support comprehensive service delivery for engineering, electrical and mechanical problem solving, and root cause analyses of troubled systems.
With experience in mechanical and electrical systems, and hands-on knowledge of HVAC controls systems, Jake brings extensive knowledge in design and analysis of control systems for mission critical facilities, retrofit applications, and integration, as well as for comfort heating and cooling. His project work includes controls, electrical, and mechanical design for a multitude of HVAC systems. Prior to joining CCA, Jake acted as the electrical engineer for Xetex Inc. providing support to the manufacturing of custom Air Handling Units, designing, and programming PLC based packaged controls systems, creating, and completing formal testing procedures, ensuring electrical safety and standardization to UL1995 and NEC standards, and remotely troubleshooting controls issues to minimize downtime of HVAC units.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and enjoys troubleshooting and problem solving of electrical and mechanical systems. In his spare time, Jake enjoys playing the bass and guitar, playing with his dog, and spending time in the woods.
