CCA is searching for experienced Structural Engineers.

We are looking to fill these positions in our Greater Boston, New York City, Dallas, TX, and Irvine California offices. We are looking for engineers with the will and desire to become the next leadership team at CCA.

We need folks that can articulate, in writing and verbally, technical issues to non-technical audiences.

The candidate must be able to analyze building problems, execute field investigations, be a trusted resource to our clients, build relationships, and generate new business opportunities. The candidate must have experience as the engineer of record design professional for buildings.

Skills Required:

  • Structural analysis and design
  • Drawing Preparation
  • Submittal review and field QA (construction administration)
  • Structural Engineer’s standard of care
  • Investigation of existing buildings and design of remedial repairs.
  • Soil-structure interaction and structural dynamics
  • Ability to use structural analysis software
  • Ability to develop & present clear extremely well written reports
  • Develop the ability to testify as an expert witness in court

 Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, advanced degree desired

CCA is searching for experienced Mechanical HVAC and MEP Engineers. Strong interest in building science and hygrothermic analysis.

Office Administrator

Our Burlington, MA office is looking for an entry-level office administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Submit expense reports and check requests
  • Maintains general corporate calendar
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepares reports, letters and communications by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for client meetings
  • Edits documents for grammar and formatting
  • Maintains sales and marketing information including client and contact lists
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques

  • Coordinate with building management and facilities on building issues

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree with intensive writing requirements
  • Attention to detail along with excellent grammar, written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent phone manners and personal presentation
  • Advanced skills in MS Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Skill in storing information on computer systems including cloud based systems preferred
  • Excellent Planning and Organizational Skills required
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently and also part of a team
