Commercial Design

CCA’s team of architects and engineers is skilled and experienced with designing and engineering commercial buildings for our customers whether it be an office building or shopping mall.  The emphasis within our organization is teamwork.  

Commercial buildings are very complex structures and need a team of architects and engineers that are familiar with local and national design codes, current costs, materials of construction, design/build concepts, and LEED strategies.  Our goal at CCA is to make our customers successful in business by providing the best, most cost-effective building designs, delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.   

 

Ice Arena Capital Improvements

Hockey players, ice skaters, spectators, and families spend long hours in your ice arena – so it is important to keep it safe and up-to-date. 

Over the past 13 years, CCA has worked with ice arena operators on their capital improvement projects at multiple rinks. Our services for these programs include:

• New roofs and soffits at various rinks
• New entry and window system glazing replacement (multiple rinks) for ADA and energy compliance/upgrade (outdated systems)
• Modifications to main rink entry approach for accessibility
• Interior improvements including electrical upgrades, modifications to existing bathrooms for accessibility compliance, alterations to include new team rooms
• Structural modifications and supports for new equipment, new window openings, and addition of new skylights
• Replacement/updating of bleachers, skate flooring, dasher boards
• Building design additions
• Help with structural assessments of damaged building components
