As a Professional Engineer, Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional, Dr. Barry has more than 30 years of hands-on experience in industrial, healthcare, military, commercial, and private sector projects. He possesses an advanced degree in radiation physics and a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering and biotechnology.
Dr. Barry’s engineering expertise has guided the construction of new facilities and the repair and renovation of existing buildings. His environmental management skills have been invaluable in a range of environmental management services, including hazardous material and extremely hazardous substance management. He has created programs to ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards for projects in plastics manufacturing, life safety and industrial hygiene, and for the validation of manufacturing processes that are regulated by the FDA. And he has planned, supervised, and conducted numerous investigations to determine the cause and origin of chemical exposure issues, indoor air quality issues, personal injuries, fires, explosions, and various construction defects.
