SUMMARY:
The District A Condominiums near Dallas, Texas comprises of twenty, multi-unit buildings constructed in the mid-2000’s. Allegations of construction defects and resultant damages ensued. On behalf of Centex Real Estate Corporation, CCA was retained to investigate and evaluate allegations of poor workmanship, design deficiencies, expansive soils, and resultant exterior and interior damages. Based on extensive on-site observations, CCA’s experts determined the buildings to mostly be in expected condition, constructed with a reasonable standard of care, and performing as intended. CCA also provided District A Condominiums with recommendations and estimated costs to implement appropriate repairs where necessary.
