SUMMARY:

A thirty three-story high-rise medical office tower in Houston, Texas, began construction in 2006. Prior to completion of the exterior envelope, allegations of water intrusion, mold, and damage to the interior work arose, followed by Hurricane Ike and other extreme rain events exacerbating the damage. CCA investigated and assessed contractual work, scheduling, and sequencing obligations of the various parties. This analysis provided a factual basis from which the involved parties could seek mutual agreement on remedies.
