SUMMARY
This gated, beachfront, luxury condominium/townhouse community consists of several mid-rise buildings and underground parking. There are seven townhouse buildings, six individual residences, a clubhouse, and private beach access. Problems with the property were alleged and included: water infiltration through the exterior building envelope (cladding, roofing, gutters, flashing, etc.), water intrusion at landscaped deck over garages, fire sprinkler/suppression system issues, sewer and storm water drainage issues, and problems with the retaining walls and seawall systems. CCA conducted extensive investigations and inspections, including destructive and non- destructive testing to determine cause and origin and validity of the allegations. CCA developed a comprehensive scope-of-repair and cost estimate for qualifying damages. CCA professionals and experts provided litigation support as well.
